About Us

Nations Footy Cup is an annual tournament held in Melbourne for talented footballers to represent their countries and heritage playing Australian Rules Football.

AFL is an integral part of Australian sporting culture and with the continuous push for growth and participation for both males and females, we wanted to create a competition that showcased the talent we have across our diverse community.

Melbourne is such a multicultural state, and we have so many talented players across all AFL leagues and divisions. Nations Footy Cup gives those players a platform to come together to represent their countries and be proud of their heritage. Whilst the competition is fierce, there is a strong sense of comradery amongst our competing countries.

Our ongoing vision at Nations Footy Cup is to celebrate diversity and inclusion bringing our communities together to enjoy our iconic sport and local talent.
